Detailed Itinerary
Our excursion leads you to three beautiful and lush mountain villages of Icaria.
First stop at Arethousa's stone square with its shady trees where you will visit the
imposing temple of Agia Marina made of slate.The spot is ideal for hiking.
You continue to Milipo where you will have the opportunity to see the ruins of the old castle as well as the remainings of
the Archangel Chapel of one of the oldest temples of Ikaria.
Arriving at Monokampi you will stop to admire the only cork tree encountered in Greece to finally arrive at the Church of Saint Sophia
which is built inside a rock, a typical architectural style.
