Detailed Itinerary
A very interesting excursion into the island's history as you will be visiting a historical place of exile that is now a small traditional village with very beautiful,old stone houses and a wonderful landscape around.
You will be also discover the old Mavrianou Monastery ,a peacefull place for meditation and to watch the sunset.
Our destination is Vrakades Village northwest of the island.Area with dense vegetation and many well-preserved old stone houses.
You will have the opportunity to get acquainted with your guide and to walk trough the picturesque village square.You will visit the folklore
local museum where many antique objects and archives of the old era are kept as well as then house of Scorpions where the famous composer Mikis Theodorakis was living there while on exile.
Finishing your private tour you will go to Monastery Evangelistria Mavrianos an absolutely tranquil spot where you can enjoy the sunset and make some good photographs of the beautiful landscape.
